Mobility description:

The main purpose of the mobility is to train the team of the Center of Evidence-Based Education and Arts Therapies: A JBI Affiliated Group and the academic employees and students who participate in the development of systematic reviews. The long-term expertise of the mobility applicant in the area of secondary research will be used to improve the quality of secondary research in education (with the primary aim of supporting the team of researchers at the Faculty of Education at Palacký University Olomouc). Since this is a completely new field of research in education in the Czech Republic, it needs to be supported by the experience of foreign experts in the area of methodology affiliated with international organizations such as JBI Collaboration, Cochrane Collaboration, etc. The mobility will take place through regular supervisions and expert consultations, including workshops and lectures for a wider audience. Currently, approximately 15 systematic review projects are under way according to the JBI methodology, including several robust meta-studies. One of these meta-studies aims to develop a proposal for a modification of this methodology in the area of education according to an assessment of the methodological quality of systematic reviews. The mobility applicant will provide expert consultations and monitoring of these projects, will be their co-author and will be actively involved in the development of publication outcomes. The outcomes of this mobility will also be available internationally to a wide range of researchers and communicated to JBI Collaboration. Al least two publications in Jimp journals are expected.

Goals of the mobility: 1. Lead the team of the Center of Evidence-Based Education and Arts Therapies: A JBI Affiliated Group at Palacký University and supervise the current systematic review projects and the meta-study aimed at the assessment of the quality of systematic reviews in the area of education. 2. Help develop a proposal for a methodology for guideline standardization relating to the implementation of systematic reviews in the area of education. 3. Help communicate the outcomes of the mobility towards international organizations in secondary research, particularly JBI Collaboration, with the aim of strengthening JBIC’s focus on education and social sciences.
